Meet Jessica

I’m Jessica Schneider, Supervisor for the Clover Hill District on the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors — a role I stepped into in December 2023 with one core commitment: to lead with heart and serve my community with purpose.

My path to public office is anything but traditional. I spent the first decade of my career in the restaurant industry, then earned my degree in interior design and built a freelance practice serving residential and commercial clients nationwide. Along the way, I served seven years in my homeowners association — on the architectural committee, as a board director, and ultimately as board president — where I learned firsthand what it means to show up, listen, and get things done for the people around you.

I believe that strong communities are built on trust, genuine connection, and neighbors who look out for one another. That’s the spirit I bring to every conversation in the Clover Hill District — whether I’m hosting community conversations, serving on the Manchester YMCA board, or advocating for the residents I represent on the Board of Supervisors.

I was raised in rural Wisconsin by parents who modeled service every day — my father as a volunteer firefighter and scout master, my mother as an entrepreneur who poured herself into everything she did. Those values shape who I am and how I lead.

Outside of public service, I’m a proud dog mom (one of ours is a certified therapy dog visiting patients at local hospitals weekly), a design enthusiast, and someone who genuinely loves this community.

I’m honored to represent Clover Hill and always glad to connect with constituents, partners, and fellow community builders
